IN TRIBUTE TO1 an . u As we look back over our progress throughout high school, we pause to pay tribute to our parents who have taken an active part in our life at G. C. H. S. Although they lead a busy life at home, their energy and interest in our school are endless. They have been the guidingpower behind the progress we have made. Each success has been inspired by them, and each accomplishment has been endowed by them. Our. class mothers, Mrs. H. A. Allen, Mrs. H. G. Roach, Mrs. R. C. Miller, Mrs. G. A. Hyde, Mrs. H. T. Klugel, Mrs. J. H. Southall, Mrs. Woodard Lucas, Mrs. Vi. E. Short, and Mrs. W. R. Cato, have served us in many ways. Helping at our Junior Minstrel, serving at our Junior-Senior Banquet, conferring with our teachers, buying Christmas cards, helping prepare chicken muddles, and patiently waiting for students after school are only a few of the many ways in which they have helped to provide us with many hours of enjoy- ment. We, the Class ol 1959, proudly dedicate this edition of The Riparian to our parents in appreciation for their sincere service. ty 4
