It provides enjoyment for all. The band now has an approximate membership of sixty. The band is open to anyone expressing a desire to play an instrument and offers any- one an excellent opportunity to participate in school activities. Some of the activities of the band during the year were: paraded and marched at the football games, was in the Christmas Parade at Petersburg, gave a concert for the public, played before some student body assemblies and participated in the Apple Blossom Fes- tival in the Spring. For the first time in our high school history, some of our members made the All-State Concert Band. We salute our band for its many achievements this year.
