In this week we were honored by the presence of the Administration Assistant to President Eisenhower, the Governor and many other distinguished businessmen and women. We dedicated a total of seven educational buildings and a new waterplant, along with other civic improvements. ln making these improvements in our school system there was no federal aid called for, although it was in excess of three million dollars. Among the improvements were modern furnishings, a new cafeteria, modernized departments such as band, home economics, industrial arts, agriculture, etc., and an effective lighting system, Crowded corridors mark Homecoming Week utilizing natural light as well as indirect lighting. On the Fourteenth of November the High School was open to all the schools in the county for inspection. The fifteenth brought school and college administrators. Then came the seventeenth and the formal dedication. The last two days, the eighteenth and nineteenth, were filled by the Industrial Development Day and School Athletics Day. This was a week to be remembered in Greensburg. The Class of i958 is iustifiably proud to have been a part of dedication week. We are also proud to say that the people of Greensburg gave us the opportunity to re- ceive the best education available. Athletic Night
