Trupp as Treasurer At the Homecoming I hud un a ladies hat that I mistook for my nest and saw Faye Boettler and Bob Hughes enuoyung the honors of Freshman attendants I was thrulled to death when I brought my bull unto Student Council room and saw Brad Johnson representung my class On the football fueld Bob Hughes Brad Johnson Don Kee Duck Norris David Clark Bull Abbott Don Domokur and Duane Moore were preparing to take over posutuons on the Varsuty Squad The gurls were as actuve as the boys because Eluzabeth Trupp Evelyn Rununger Peggy Stone and Corunne Scott had been chosen as Reserve furst year of hugh school was a class party held at Lake O Springs After my summer vacatuon I came back to fund that my Freshmen had grown quite a but and were guven the tutle of Sophomores They had bug plans to carry out so they ummeduately elected Lawrence Stuenel as President Shurley Kendall as Vuce Presudent Faye Boettler as Treasurer and Eunuce Dickerson as Secretary Th s happy class was under the watchful eye of Mr Clarke and Mr Pence The vouce of the class un the Student Councul was Shurley Kendall and Brad Johnson The Kung and Queen of 53 had the honor presence of Peggy Stone and Wallace Graham as theur Sophomore attendants About the middle of the year the class chose black and white as th ur colors and they offucually elected me as theur class emblem Near the end of the year I helped them select theur class rungs and they were really excuted about them Well ut was May agaun and I pre paued for my annual vacatuon I grabbed my sun glasses and shorts and started on my way I stopped at Myers Lake where the class was having theur class party and saud bon voyage to all After my vacatuon I reached GHS the following September I arruved un tume to hear the applause greet ung
