ome conomicri elaarfmenl There is some possiblity that a new Home Economics depart- ment will be ready before many months have passed. The present quarters are inadequate for the great numbers of girls who wish to take the course, and the surroundings are hardly in keeping with the ideals of the department. During the school year our student body together with the feminine members of the faculty were subject to a matrimonial virus which also invaded the Home Economics area. Our popular teacher Miss Dillon, very quietly became the wife of one Mr. Blankenship, but fortunately for us she continued her work with us. The Seniors of '49 think that an entire new department would be in keeping with a teacher who has recently become a bride, We shall be happy to return and visit with her in new quarters.
