If you were to step inside, though, you would find that this is all part of the relaxed atmosphere that helps develop good secretaries and sales- men. Another ball of fire in the commercial department was Miss Knoll. Who will for- get her rousing pep speeches in assembly, when she helped cheer our boys on to victory? Maybe we will remember her most though for the guidance she gave in regard to our Soiree. The memory of our celestially decorated gym on Soiree night will be one never lost. Seated: Miss Custer, Miss Harlin, Miss Fisher, Mrs. Quigley, Miss O'Neil, l , X i FACULTY 20 Miss Wineman. Every Senior will remem- ber the lively English literature course of- fered by Miss Johnston. Miss Johnston's own experiences in England and her vivacity in telling them added to the won- der of this class. Will you ever forget her perfect mimic of Sir Englishman? If you're dreaming of a trip to Hawaii, chances are that you have run across Miss Wineman in your days at G. H.S. After hearing Miss Wineman tell of this island paradise, we would have liked to pack up and head for Hawaii. But since this was impossible, Miss Wineman's classes were a good substitute.
