Q.H.S. MS'DJA eSNZSK 1981-82 The Greensboro High Media Center is moving on! Transferred from the main building to the pod, the “new” media center has doubled in size. The air-conditioned, carpeted facility has spacious areas for fiction, non-fiction, biography, and references. Special sections include the junior-book corner, magazines periodicals and the filmstrip vertical file area. In addition, the new facility boasts a paneled workroo-m office, an AV storage room and a bound periodicals room. Eighteen tables and 3 center storage sections provide maxium seating and work room for students. Numerous materials have been added to the Media Center collection. One hundred new paperbacks and perma-bound novels are especially popular with Greensboro students. Teachers are using new filmstrips in the areas of American history, mathematics, geography, and biology. Media Specialist, Nora Ray and library aides, Gleycia Mathews, Jayne Guest, and Dawn Clark are striving to establish the new Media Center and to acquaint patrons with the conversion. MRS. NORA RAM 12
