Now, its time for their reunion at the Interplanetary Amphitheatre on Mars, The date is May 20, 1980. The time is 7:30 p. m. when the group begins to assemble. Mrs. Clark is the leader of the pack. Their nickname in high school was the long-haired, sticky-fingered class, but have they changed!! My first vision is of Leslie. She is now a well known dentist and the wife of Billy Johnson, the Secretary of Agriculture. Besides being in politics, he’s also in trouble. Others are entering now. There's Nell, the world famous designer. Her specialty is baby diapers because she has had lots of experience in the field. Following close behind is Marilyn, cheering her onward. In her spare time, which is not very often, she is a History teacher. Bruce, in his race against time, has put the first Mall on Mars. Is it a good investment or a waste of time? I see that Mike, the retired revolutionist, has his home on Saturn. Wayne has his own newspaper and is doing very well. My crystal ball is getting blurry. But wait a minute, I see Bill on the moon. Because of his money and knowledge, he practically owns the place. Raymond is an international playboy, but he can't find anyone to play around with. Susan is a Venician cover girl, and what a cover girl she is! Well, I never would have believed this! Annette is a professor at the largest university in space but she has two professions because she is the wife of the greatest basketball player in space, Garon Boyd. I'm glad they settled down because I got tired of them in homeroom. Garon is now in for more trouble for Barbara is trying to take over his place as the greatest basketball player in space. Others are successful in their endeavors, I see. Norma is the stewardess of the Venmar rocket ship traveling from Venus to Mars. Jesse and Mary have an interest in two professions - photography and children. Linda is a housewife but will not give her husband's name. Wait! The vision of others is not so clear. But now it's okay so we can continue. Judy is still on Earth and is a military nurse. Rosa, who was always doctoring on boys, is a nurse for all the brokenhearted guys in space. Alzada is the personal secretary of the President back on Earth. Kenneth, after racing his space-mobile all over the galaxy, has settled down as a partner with Harvey, who does most of the work. My eyes need checking or my crystal ball needs adjusting for I don't believe what I see! Calvin is a brain surgeon. He has done over 500 operations, but unfortunately, none of the people are living to tell about them. Clark has the largest peach farm on Venus. I knew it was something about him in school that made me think he would be successful in this line of fruit. Jerry and Jeff are the biggest game hunters in the dark jungles of Neptune. James owns his own space group, The Bushers. ” Again my sight is not so clear but maybe I can get a better focus. Frances is a librarian at the Space-o-Brary. Allen, I observe, is President of the Sugar the Space Bear fan club. He is next in line for the commercial position. Jane, who never accepted many dates, has plenty now, because she owns her own date farm. People come from many light years around just to taste them. I am the last of the class. Everyone hated having me around but I was there just for kicks. I will pop up at the reunion unexpectedly to keep a good record. Wait! A disaster is near. A uniquake is shaking things for milli-miles around. Well, due to my condition of uniquakes, I have to go. Before I go though, can you guess who I am? 69 WANTED y Sx j Qn on.ej Compliments of FLETCHER COMPANY Greensboro 442-6111 442-6612 Congratulations to the Seniors of 1970 from L.
