Mrs. Larkin was doomed to bear with part of us again in the second grade while Mrs. Rowan shared her happy times with the rest. Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Shepard had to cope with us in the third grade. Mrs. P. Smith and Mrs. D. Smith passed out the multiplication tables in the fourth grade. Mrs. Kinchen took over Mrs. P. Smith’s task later in the year. Ronnie Sadler joined us that year. vVe were all pretty well shook when we learned our fifth grade teacher was to be Mrs. Clower. But we managed somehow??? In Mrs. Davis' sixth grade we were joined by Mary Alice Gable and Craig Clark. From there we graduated to Mr. Marcus' seventh grade to begin our Junior High Schooling. Linda Jemison, Steve Mills, and Larry Moffett joined us that delightful year. Mrs. Shirley Clark received us with open arms our eighth year. Mrs. Mary Fletcher started us on our 20 credits needed for graduation. Sharon Ess-man, George McAlpin and James Yeomans joined us that year. Steve Horton, A. C . Johnson and Jean Jorden joined us in the tenth grade with Mr. Bohannan whom we had a joyous time with. During our Junior year, Mr. Marcus sweated many an hour while we argued constantly about our Junior-Senior Prom . But it turned out a success after all. Gloria Moody and Jimmy Carr joined us this year. Mr. Marcus was promoted with us to the twelfth grade where he is anxious to see thirty-three of us on our way into the world. Betty Brown joined our ranks this final year. FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS LOANS . Hams Sausage Bacon Weiners Quincy Florida CLASS PROPHECY The time is 1987, the event is the inauguration of Florida's newly elected governor, our own perennial politician, John Clark. The smiling, top-hatted governor is flanked by several of his colleagues and former schoolmates, Sandy VanLandingham, Commissioner of Agriculture, and Ray Gould, Chief Security Officer, F.B.I. Chris Smith, owner of Smith Farming Enterprises, has been elected National President of the Farm Bureau and David Brandon is being mentioned as a possible appointee for a seat on the Electrical Powers Commission. All the graduates of 1967 seem to be present at the inaugural festivities. Hilda Robinson, appearing very chic and sophisticated, is now designer-owner of Tallahassee’s top fashion house. Mary Peters is attending and is accompanied by her nuclear scientist husband an a pair of lively twin boys. At the governor's barbecue many of the Class of '67 enjoy renewing old acquaintances. The elaborate affair is being catered by Steve Horton and his well-trained crew. Randal McPherson and Franklin Fletcher are now successful veterinarians and are accompanied by A. C . Johnson, Gadsden County's Beef Cattle King. Bill Deal is seen being chauffeured up to the front of the governor's mansion in a black Imperial limousine. He is a high ranking official in the Dodge Corporation. He is accompanied by Burl Marcus who bought out and consolidated Yazoo Lawn Mowers and Harley Davidson under the name Marcus Motors. Terry Kever, now the nation's number one racing driver, also owns Kever's Plymouth Plantation and Drag Shop. Keeping an eye on the entire proceedings is Old Silent, Craig Clark, now Chief Officer for the Florida Highway Patrol. Benjamin and Donald Potter, professional wrestlers are seen carrying well laden plates which they appear to be enjoying with much gusto. Among other notables is Ronnie Macon and Wallace Shepard. Ronnie is star basketball player for the Boston Celtics. His only regret is that he occasionally has to play against his former schoolmate, Wallace, who leads the way for the Cincinnati Royals. Glimpsed among the crowd is a trim uniformed hostess for Eastern Airlines, Betty Brown. Distinguished and proudly aloof is Gloria Moody, now a history professor in a northern college. Sharon Essman will begin work soon as private secretary to Gov. Clark and Sandra Bowen, well-known interior decorator, is presently in charge of redoing the entire governor's mansion. Jo Anne White, the South's spiciest comedienne and Carol Shepard with her Jumpettes will be among the entertainers at the Governor's Ball. Music will be furnished by Lamar Clark and The Sophisticates. Anne Sansom, Shari Richardson, Linda Jemison and Elizabeth Hunt are still seen together on important occasions. Anne is now top opera star of the South and is ably managed by her producer-director husband. Shari has just returned from a European tour, after having finished writing her third novel. She is hailed by the critics as the American Daphne Du Maurier. Linda is the first woman trumpet soloist with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. She plays a custom made jeweled trumpet which she designed herself. Elizabeth is married to a professor of music at Florida State University. Her six children all play musical instruments. Larry Pace has become the nation's top movie star and is known as the new George Hamilton. The staging, decorating, lighting and general management of the ball is under the direction of Douglas Goodwin and Randy Parker, co-owners of the firm of Goodwin and Parker Specialty Company. The vision fades. The illustrious characters move on across the pages of history to their destiny. Put a tiger in your tank. 96 Tears???
