I, Benita Bevis, will my knowledge of football, basketball, and softball to Jean Ogilvie, so that she can become a better referee. I, Mary Lee Cross, will my ability to be a cheerleader to Shirley Hopkins. I, Marcus Edwards, will my Romeo qualities to Russell Potter. 1, Mabel Hosey, leave my place as the shortest senior girl to Shirley Harris. 1, Virginia Watson, will my good personality to Sonya Fletcher. SENIOR PROPHECY WE, THE SENIORS, PROPHESY THAT IN 1962: Roy will be Mayor of Docville and owner of a large used car lot. But, he will still cherish his old '41 Ford. Marcus will own the largest and best tobacco farm in Sawdust and will still be trying to dodge Sarah. Billy will have taken Mr. May's place as pastor of the Greensboro Baptist Church. He had a hard time deciding who, among his many girls, was best suited to be a preacher's wife. Laveme Barton was the winner. Wayne will have taken over Peanut's Service Station and will drive a Hot Rod in the Sunday races at Clark's Speedway in Scratchankle. Byron will be residing in Tallahassee. Immediately after finishing school he will join the Engineering Corps, and by 1962 he will have become a Major. He will have married Betty Jo. Willard will be playing solo cornet in his own band, known as Speck Rudd's Hotshots. This was originally Spike Jones's Orchestra. He is still trying to get Alice Faye to marry him. He had better hurry, because another Willard has the same idea. Mary Lee will be in Wasnington and will be working for the F. B. I. Lenora will have become a missionary. Carol Jean will be married to Elton and will be living in Chattahoochee, where he is still employed at the hospital. They have three children. Ann will have become a nurse and will be working in Walter Reed Hospital. Mabel will be an airline hostess, working for Pan American Airlines. Benita will be married to Harold who will have taken over the Suwannee store. Both attended college.
