These things— what we make of them— are our becoming, our striving, our achieving, our failing, our learning, our being. In the fall we came as have those who came in many falls with visions and aspirations— with plans and resolutions— coming for the first memorable time or returning with joy and warm memories. Winter set in on us with deep snows and happy hours— the more to distinguish our year. On Winter Week-end the driven snow bore patterned prints, and the campus was abuzz with distressed chatter of those whose dates were kept across the miles.
