cMcaticn Benjamin Wilson came to Greensboro College three years ago and has accomplished since tli.it time .1 cum plete renovation of the English Department, Its curricu- lum lias been expanded by new course offerings. For the Inst lime the English Department requires a classical reading program with oral examinations. For the first time there is an I lonors program. Emphasis is being placed on critical as well as creative writing. Once again the English Department is realizing student capacity for sound scholarship. Ii is to Benjamin Wilson ' s achieve- ments in the English Department, his critical interest m the general college, and his realistic appraisal of sin Jem thought, productivity, and criticism that this bonk is dedicated.
