DEPARTMENTS OF ROMANCE LANG UAGES AND GERMAN DEPARTMENT OE ENGLISH AND THE LIBRARIANS A frequent assignment in English classes is: Go to the library and look up so-and-so : for that reason, it should not be hard to understand why the English Department posed with the librarians.
