After settling down in rooms 313 and 315, the Class of 1959 began the task of struggling through its third high school year. The Juniors elected the following officers: james Salmin- en. president: John Gloria. vice presidentg Carole Crathwohl, secretaryg Joseph Wells, treasurer. Their Student Council representa- tives were Athena Moskovey and James Sal- minen. As in the past two years. Mr. Deutsch- mann became their faithful class adviser. CLASS 0F Their first undertaking was to choose the class ring. By a majority vote. the ring was a ship set in its stone became the official ring of the Juniors. Much to the delight of every- one the rings arrived right after Thanksgiv- ing. A food sale in November brought relief to the fund set aside for the long desired Washington trip.
