I am joined by Al Bondar- chuk, the card shark who challenges Maverick on Channel 3, and Art Nichols, the kiddies' idol, who rides shotgun for Wyatt Earp. We notice Tom Wysocki, who is an official mat- tress-tester for Beauty Sleep, accompanied by the glamorous Jane Lynch, TV's Private Sec- retary. Roger Willioms, controversial column- ist for the New York Times, enters and joins the crowd around Paul Wysocki of B.S., M.A., Ph.D. fame. In the cocktail lounge a fashion show, fea- turing Susan Hudson Originals modeled by Rita Fiore, is in session. Karen Cranford, the chemist who discovered nuclear nylon, Hilda Kaplan, head of the U.S. Department of In- ternal Revenue fdues, anyone?J and Diana Latham, famous anthropologist, are discuss- ing the gowns with Shirley Trower, famous cartoonist and creator of L'il Mooney, a char- acter based on the exploits of Dave Higbee, 25 the Air Force captain credited with being the first man to reach the moon. Doris Wilson, WINS disk jockey, Marian Warren of TV's Vallely's Ding Dong School and Peggy Kart, who teaches in dear old CHS come up to me and ask about the absentees. It seems Seth Webb couldn't leave his dia- mond mine in Africa and Wilbur Cook is making a movie My Harem for MGM. We notice Henry Vail, the Texas millionaire hand- ing out cigars to Wayne Raynor, editor of Hot Rodv magazine. The girls leave to con- gratulate Henry on his twins and I am left with nostalgic memories of the days when Harry's hooligans inhabited 307 and studied, scrimped, and screamed through four harried but happy years.
