THF CHAPEL COMMITTEE' The chapel committee is composed of one member from each cla ss and a facult - V advisor who are responsible for the chapel meetings each morning. 7 N if X . Q A o 'Rx Q Y Q4 The Parlimentary Pushers met on every other Wednesday in Miss Craven's room. The purpose of this club was to acquaint the officers of the Student Body and various clubs in the school with proper par- limentary procedure. All off- icers in the clubs of the school were compelled to attend The Bible Club met every other Wednesday in the assembly. This club has many different programs with skits. contest, singspirations, etc. The officers are elected bi-annually by the pop- ular vote of the club members. Joyce Hoover. . . An all school Halloween party was held in the assembly of the old Academy building. Some of the kids were masqueradedg were not. After the party, refreshments of apples and popcorn balls were served. This party was sponsored by the faculty. . - 0 X 'f The assembly room was the scene of a Christmas Dinner on Dec. Zl for the student body and faculty, Decorations included a large, beau- tifly decorated Christmas tree. The dinner was served buffet style. A program in which the Eng. 11 class presented a skit portraying Christmas in different countries and the speech class gave several short poems was presented. This was followed by three films. The football season was Closed with a banquet held November 9 in the hall of the Academy. The tables were laid for 110 persons and were decorated with miniature goalposts and football players. During the program, the members of the team were honored by being presented with small gold footballs. The team has played eight games this season with five wins, Others ,QI
