Senior Class History IN SEPTEMBER, 1947, a Freshman class of 18 members came into Greenleaf Academy and were steered through the year with Jack Delamarter as president and Mrs. Winters as sponsor. No worries marred the good times together that year. The fall of 1948 saw some changes in the class as Maxine Shelton, Melford Camp, Bertha Watson, Leon Jeffery, and Helen Cline left, but Terrell and Corwin Hanson from Boise 5' joined the ranks. Paul Ralphs was elected president with ' Mr. Winters as sponsor. The year was high-lighted by changing the tradition of the typical freshman initiation to a welcome party, iwhich included a hay-ride andawatermelon feedl. Another outstanding event of the year was the winning of the inter-class tournament by the sophomore boys. As the class entered the academy upper classmen ln 1949, Dick Jones and Bertha Watson were added to the roster, but Terrell and Corwin Hanson were missing.
