We would like to welcome back Mr. Doug Haase this year. He has been teaching band for four years and has done a great job. In addition to his band classes, he has also started chorus, and he’s doing a fine job with them. He also teaches music to the elementary students in the afternoon. He’s a wild and crazy guy that we hope will return next year. Mrs. Page also teaches family living. This class helps students become aware of all the real responsibilities of a family, along with teaching about consumer education, family planning, insurance, banking, career planning, aging, and just about any other area that you will need to know about when you have a family of your own. Mrs. Candace Page is the home ec teacher at GHS. This is her third year here at Greenland. She makes home ec very interesting by teaching different things such as how to buy furniture, how to shop wisely, nutrition, color coordination, along with the traditional things such as cooking and sewing. 17
