How is it that such leaps are taken in growing but such small steps in our lifetime. Everything seems to happen now and we try to grasp it. To us it seems there will be no other time to take part in life. We can only hope that our years of preparation will enable us to take hold of life rather than have it take hold of us. To be associated with the quality of athletes, as we have, makes every event en- joyable to be a part of. In today's permissive and rebellious world, our athletes have shown outstanding qualities in character, sportsmanship and leadership. It is easy to follow the pattern of modern trend, but you have shown great integrity by the standards you have set in facing each crisis. You are to be congratulated for your standards and deserve the respect of all. Coaches Comment Eventful and promising are two words which ex- press my sentiments toward this past year at Green- land High School. I feel extremely fortunate to have known and worked with this year's seniors. I con- sider my experiences with the Jr. High teams invalua- ble and full of memories to be relished in thought. I have thoroughly, without a doubt, enjoyed work- ing along side with Coach Kossover; as well as the entire administration. The most encouraging thing which G.H.S. has going is the students themselves. Their spirit is never dying, their attitude unconquerable, their sportsmanship uncontested. G.H.S. students are an attribute to society as well as the community. 81 Foot Opponents Greenland Winslow Ml.
