Going to your last Home- coming game - the last one you can say you were a part of; participation in the Senior Play, and receiving your diploma gives you a feeling of fear and uneasiness. It makes you wonder what you’re going to be doing tenyears from now - whether you’ll be a failure or a success. But most of all being a Senior presents a challenge. In just a short. . . This is happiness??? Seniors of a flower flock together. time we’ll have to face that big bad world and put our knowledge to the test. We’ll have to see whether or not we took advantage of what was given to us. In the near future we’ll look back over this year and say, “Happiness was being a Senior of “ ’73”. We as a class have accomplished more this year than ever before. The play, Home- coming, the slave sale, and Prom have been a lot of fun. Expecially the week of Homecoming. We didn’t win anything but we helped the school have a lot more pride and spirit and had more fun than any other class. We are really looking forward to next year and wish the Seniors of “73” lots of luck from the Seniors of “74”. Coach Comments This past year, at Greenland High School, has been one of the most enjoyable years of my life. The association with the adminis- tration, athletes, students and community has been a pleasant experience. We have established many new standards, during the year, which should help students better develop into well-rounded individuals. I would like to wish the Seniors, who have set high standards of responsibility and leadership and the underclassmen, who have shown the potential to follow in their footsteps, the best in the future, with a reminder that anything can be accomplished with hard work and the willingness to sacrifice. 75 72 Pirates First row: Terry Davis, Jeff Knight, Jeff Caudle, Larry Griffth, Troy Hutchens, Jesse Carothers.
