.93 if i i f i FOREWORD The theme of this yearbook, to make a year, was evidently suggested because it includes the activities of the student body of Greenhills High School for the year 1957-1958, these together constituting the story of the year. It is interesting to speculate that a typical year in the history of a high school may in many ways represent every year because it records the activities of boys and girls who overa long period of time are interested in essentially the same things. It is a part of growth to be interested in social activities, in athletic activities, in music, in dramatic events and in many other specialclubs and activities as well as in the pursuit of academic achievement. It takes all of these to make up life now, and to develop capacity for future usefulness. It may be well to realize early in life that although this yearbook describes a specific year, life is made up of a series of yeats and the interests and activities of one year may well represent years to follow and hence become a measuring stick for life as a whole. For this reason we trust that the year 1957-1958 will be a record of intense interest in and a constructive effort toward the successful completion of many endeavors and that this pattern of an active life will express itself in the service of God and mankind during all of your future life. May all of your years be fruitful. $. RAY A. YOUNG, Superintendent
