Foreword Every town has its sourcesof pride in its past, --its achievements, its institutions and the prestige that has come to it through the accomplishments of its people either in groups or as individuals. Greenhills, in its short history, can match any town in all of these respects but can excel most of them inmony ways. The thread of emphasis upon nature throughout this yearbook brings to mind one of the most enchanting, enticingond endearing teoturesofour village. Nearlyeveryinhabitont who has lived in other communitieswill quickly admit that for clean atmosphere, For beauty of landscape and natural attractiveness, they have never lived in or seen a town with o more wonderful setting. Manystudents of Greenhills High School have been privileged to live most of their years in the midst oF these God-given surroundings. Your future may take you to places remote and For eWay but you will likely never Find a community so blessed with the beauties of nature as that of your home town, Greenhills . Whether conscious of it or not, you nocloubt have been vitally affected by this influence. One could hardly live under such ideal circumstances withoutbecomingowure of the finer things of life and more sensitive to the more enobling characteristics of true manhood and womanhood. A sense ofobl igation and responsibilityshould come to the youth who have been showered with these manifold blessings because even a small measure of this plea- sure has been denied to thousands of people. Of the limitless number of blessings that are possible in America, they exist in Unusual abundance in our own Green- hills. For all of these veryspecial privileges we should be continually grateful to God and show it in our Future life by being conscientious Followers of His will. To this end we pray you will work and live and may you ever seek His guidance. K34 RAY A. YOUN G
