. 2 aiu, . Special events such as musicals, plays, and even days to study a certain era in history have been a notable part of the Greenhill puzzle. In the above picture, first graders perform at the annual holiday concert, formerly held in the cafeteria. In the picture at the left, Mrs. Lucinda Carter, then the fifth grade language arts teacher, helps teach hula dancing to a member of the cast of the 1975 Greenhill musical production, South Pacific. Below is a scene from the program for the 1979 musical, The Music Man. Above is a familiar scene in Lower School: children listening intently as their teacher reads aloud. In this 1976 photograph, the third grade teacher Dr. Evelyn Robinson reads to her students, all of whom are graduating this year. At the right, Mr. Tilmon Stantield helps a student setup a chemistry lab in the recently constructed Agnich Science Building. Below, Mrs. Carroll, the librarian, helps a student with the card catalogue file. The library was housed in the cafeteria until the Montgomery Library was completed in 1969.

KZ?- In 1978, the Greenhill sixth grade did a production of Tom Sa wyen Pictured above is the famous fence-painting scene. Medieval Dayl' is the culmination of the fifth grade's studies of Medieval History. Students participate in such activities as writing a play, creating their own costumes, and singing. Former fifth grade history teacher Mr. Steven Blanchard, now Director of Admissions is pictured at the right. In the not-so-distant past, the second grade produced their own musical of a classic Mary foppins. In the bottom photograph, members ofthe class of 1987 take part in the 1977 production of Peter Pang these cast members are playing pirates who were members of Captain Hook's crew.
