Above is a familiar scene in Lower School: children listening intently as their teacher reads aloud. In this 1976 photograph, the third grade teacher Dr. Evelyn Robinson reads to her students, all of whom are graduating this year. At the right, Mr. Tilmon Stantield helps a student setup a chemistry lab in the recently constructed Agnich Science Building. Below, Mrs. Carroll, the librarian, helps a student with the card catalogue file. The library was housed in the cafeteria until the Montgomery Library was completed in 1969.

. 2 aiu, . Special events such as musicals, plays, and even days to study a certain era in history have been a notable part of the Greenhill puzzle. In the above picture, first graders perform at the annual holiday concert, formerly held in the cafeteria. In the picture at the left, Mrs. Lucinda Carter, then the fifth grade language arts teacher, helps teach hula dancing to a member of the cast of the 1975 Greenhill musical production, South Pacific. Below is a scene from the program for the 1979 musical, The Music Man. Lee Lyon and Kate Dowe, both playing Amaryllis, try to steal kisses from Winthrop Paroo, played by David Shelby and Kirk Dunk. ,awsfsassslfllw :swf w'sffQfQs-mfr: Sw Maw.
