i id Headmaster' Phillip G. Foote. In the Aims and Purposes of Greenhill we find the statement, The curriculum is an organic entity, constantly under revision. 4 In my opening remarks at orientation in September, I asked the faculty to concentrate on two major priorities for this school year. The first priority was to spend as much time as possible through both school meetings and departmental meetings on curricular concerns and development. As a result of these meetings we now have a totally updated and revised curriculum. The faculty should be commended for the thoughtfulness and thoroughness with which they have approached this task. Also in the Aims and Purposes of Greenhill we find the statement, Greenhill fosters a warm family atmosphere which prevails in the school community, and the intellectual and emotional growth and development of each student as an individual is deemed of paramount importance. My second charge to the faculty was to continue to seek out ne ways to improve our advising system. Each division of th school, each department and each grade level explored, discussed and implemented new techniques for helping their individual students. Greenhill continues to be recognized both nationally and internationally for its own unique approach to education. Our energetic, involved faculty and our supportive parents contribute to this uniqueness. We seek and learn together as we approach each new challenge. These are the qualities that are found in only the great schools! t
