Upper School Faculty: Different Goalsg Different Ways of Accomplishing Them The Upper School faculty not only teach their respective subjects and stay on top of their advisees' grades and problems. but also consider many questions dealing with college. With these tasks and other non-academic activities the teachers were kept extremely busy this year. Many were sponsors of clubs or literary organizations. Also. there were two faculty sponsors for each grade. which entailed anything from cooking hot dogs to helping with baccalaureate services. Several teachers expressed the feeling that it is very rewarding to see students finally understand something which previously they had been unable to grasp. They also felt that to have a former student come back, tell them that what they taught them had helped and thank them for being there, was a tremendous compliment.
