Phillip Foote The position of headmaster carries with it a set of predetermined responsibilities. However, there are aspects of thejob which are left up to the individual. Mr. Foote feels that the most important thing to remember while in an administrative position is to keep an overall perspective of Greenhill's aims and purposes. He feels that he cannot let himself be limited to an emotional level while making decisions. He also feels, along with other members of the faculty, that the most rewarding experience in teaching is to see what happens to people you have helped to challenge and develop. He works with systems, structures, and the curriculum in an effort to make Greenhill the best preparatory school in the country. He is pleased by the commitment made by the faculty, the board of directors, the students, and their families to improve the quality of life for everyone on the campus.
