Its purposes are: to encourage scholarship, to promote character, and to stim- ulate leadership qualities among its members. Membership is limited to those students of the junior ing is perior attain and senior classes whose scholastic stand sufficiently creditable to indicate su- mental qualification. No student may membership without the recommendation of the administrative head of the local school. The Beta Club is Greenfield H igh has eleven members. Every month each member receives the Beta Club Journal published by the central organ ization, and in which the members may publish their offerings. The National Office of the Beta Club also furnishes monthly programs which are used in all the meetings.
