Simply by winning a letter, a G.I-l.S. athlete be- comes a member of the Lettermen's Club. But simply is not THE word. A lot of hard work and energy goes into a letter. It is a little bit of recogni- tion for all that an athlete does. His doing does not stop when his season is up. Often during the year, he does other stuff. Among the things that he has done, you may have noticed that a familiar sight at a basketball game is our Letterman making and selling popcorn to the fans. Leading our athletic teams as captains are the following boys: bottom row: Gary Kaszynski - baseball, Frank Szarzynski -f baseball, Jeff LaFluer - gymnastics, Greg LaFluer - gymnas- tics, Pete Ruszkiewicz - wrestling, Bill Bradshaw -- wrestling, Larry Palmtag W basketball. row two: Ralph Sajkowski - swimming, Jeff Rajchel -'- tennis, Jurgen Adam -- tennis, Pat Guiney - track, Rich Wilinski - track, Mike Doolin f- track, Mark Kujath M cross country, Paul Lewandowski - cross country, Dave Johnson - cross country, Dave Wipijewski - football, Ron Frahm - football, Keith Sawallich - football and basketball.

But then, all of the above is what a Pep Club member is They're S piri I Builders IFIIWX TWD supposed to do - in addition to keeping her grades up.
