United Again. .Homecoming Hey! I forgot my club! Flattery will get you nowhere! October 13 and 14 was G.H.S.'s official Homecoming weekend. lt was a perfect Homecoming, sparked by the unmistakable school spir- it, which united the entire city of Greenfield, the band marching through the halls, and the annual Homecoming assembly. Saturday began with a parade through the city followed by the main attraction, the football game which the Hawks won 20-O. Frosted Leaves was the theme for the Homecoming Dance which was climaxed by a bonfire. The sophomores displayed the winning float, Tanks for Victory. The homecoming game the football team won. We had twenty points to Oak Creek's none. The sophomores worked hard and won Best Float, And the juniors got the skit trophy, as they had hoped. Corsages were ordered, and guys pressed their pants, And took their favorite girl to the homecoming dance. King Rick and Queen Debbie over it reigned. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day. 94
