The 1967 Junior Prom l . The cafeteria was unrecognizably changed The finishing touches were put on the doorway. Kawaii Sagura was the theme which unified the 1967 juniors and provided them with an unforgettable evening. Months of preparation, under the direction of co-chairmen Mary McDonald and Sue Owens, revealed itself April 21 when the cafeteria was transformed into an oriental setting. Midway through the beautiful evening the court was in- troduced, followed by the grand march of the juniors and climaxed by the coronation of King Gene Lentz and Queen Diane Stanecki by the 1966 King and Queen Dave Karel and Joyce Lukaszewicz. Ifyou takethis picture, l'II. .. Many of the girls just can't wait To be asked to the prom by their favorite date. Prom is the social highlight of the year. That they'lI miss it, many girls fear. So months in advance they become alarmed - And corner the guys and twist their arms. Prom committee members worked diligently to make this prom the best G.H.S. ever had. 97

Truly a Beautiful Evening The band provided beautiful music for a beautiful evening. QC U nhl' See, we're not afraid ofthe Jolly Green Buddah. Couples danced into the small hours ofthe night. l Prorngoers enjoyed good music, good decorations, and good company. Promgoers spent a memorable evening in a formal atmosphere. 99
