As a step in her desire to be a Soap Box dramatist, Ann has been a member of the Dramatic Club during her Senior year. Ann has also been a member of the Bowling Club during the same year and has been active on the Photo- graphy committee of the Emerald, During her Sophomore year, Ann played intramural basketball. MARY BLAKE CARROLL Mary Ambition - Stewardess Hobby - Rita's Favorite Saying - I'll give you a clue Dramatics seem to have been Mary's main school interest at G.H.S. Besides being a member of the Dramatic Club for two years, Mary was very prominent as Ida in the Senior Play Ces- pecially the first nightj. Besides dramatics, Mary has been on several dance committees, has been Sports Editor of the Exponent , and has played intramural field hockey and intramural basket- a . WILLIAM FRANCIS CASEY Bill Ambition - Musician Hobby - Collecting records Fanoriio Saying - none - I don't like to get into ruts. Bill is one of our versatile Seniors. However, the band and the school orchestra take up most of Bill's time. Bill has been in the musical organizations throughout his entire high school career. Then too, Bill has been a member of the Exponent staff in his Sophomore and Senior years. WILLIAM GEORGE CHAPIN Bill Ambition - Find a good job Hobby - Hunting and settle down Favorite Saying - Give me time Bill has not participated in many school acti- vities during the past three years. He has, how- ever, played intramural basketball while he was a Sophomore and again while he was a Senior. William has an ambition common to many of us. Let's hope he realizes it. MARGARET MARY CHENEY Margie Ambition - To travel Hobby - Tuesday night club Faziorite Saying - You don't know, , do ya? It appears that Margie's main extra-curricular in- terest has been music. Besides participating in the 1948 musical show, Do You Remember , she has been a member of the Glee Club for two years, holding the position of President of that organization during her Senior year. She has also been active on several dance committees and has been one of our cheerleaders this year. BETTY ANN CHESK Betty Ambition - Go to Becker Jr. Hobby - D. O. F. Favorite Saying - Think I care 8 Betty's hobby has been D.O.F., and she cer- tainly has seen enough of him! However, Betty managed to squeeze out some time to spend on extra-curricular activities. Betty has helped out on quite a number of committees. These have been the Senior Play ticket committee, the foot- ball dance committee, and the Franklin County Fair committee. Also, Betty has been a member of the Girls' Glee Club, and she has been secretary- treasurer of the Bowling Club.

FREDRICK RAYMOND BRISTOL Freddie Ambition - Stay single Hobby - Skiing Favorite Saying - Ah, your father's mustache. Freddie, a Commercial student, is easily remembered for his ready grin and quick wit. He played intramural basketball in his Junior year. While a Sophomore, Freddie was a member of the Camera Club. If Freddie keeps away from girls, he will realize his ambition. PAUL JEROME BURDICK Tracy Ambition - Make good in aviation Hobby - Model Favorite Saying - How 'bout dat! airplanes Tracy is another member ofthe class of 1950 who has been prominent in extra activities as well as in the classroom. He has been very active in sports, playing football for three years and being a mem- ber of the track squad for two years. Also, Tracy has been a member of the Camera Club and has served as Chaplin of theiHi-Y organization. Fi- nally, he has been a member of the Stage Club and has assisted on the Art and Photography com- mittees of the Emerald. ROBERT JOSEPH BURNISKI .. 00 ,, Ambition - Ski like Snapper Hobby - Women Favorite Saying - Who's got a butt? Little can be said about Nook that isn't already known. We hear he played a little football Qthree years, to be exactj and led our class through our first years at G.H.S. Besides being Co-Captain of football, Nook has played intramural basketball two years. He has also served on several dance committees. CHARLES WILLIAM BURR Twig Ambition - To be a com- Hobby - Drawing, sports mercial artist Favorite Saying - Good Lord Another print shop fellow is Twig. Al- though he has not been too active in school, he makes up for it by being a member of Company L National Guard. His talent in art should help him fulfill his ambition to become a commercial artist. DOROTHY MAE CALL HDOC., Ambition - To be a doctor Hobby - Sewing and Favorite Saying - For pete's sake designing As Dorothy just arrived at Greenfield High School this past year, she has not had an opportunity to make herself known in extra-curricular fields. Nevertheless, she has made many friends in her short time here, and she will probably make many more in the years to come. Not only is he a member of the Vocational School auto shop but also he has the ambition of be- coming an auto mechanic. Pop has other interests, of course. Among these are hunting and fishing. DOUGLAS THURSTON COUSINO Frenchie Ambition - Photographer Hobby - Photography Favorite Saying - If you want some- thing done right, do it yourself. Most of Frenchie's interest during the last three years has been concentrated on his work in the Vocational School print shop. He has also been interested in photography, as is shown by his ambition and hobby and by the fact that he has been a member ofthe Camera Club. MARIE DELORES COUTURE Marie Ambition - Dental assistant Hobby - Larry Favorite Saying - Connie, what class do we have next? Marie played intramural basketball in her Sophomore and Junior years. She was active on the Decorations committee for the Club SO and the Photography committee for the Emerald, Perhaps you also re- member Marie ushering at the Senior Play. JANE ANN CREPEAU Janie Ambition - Success Hobby - Dramatics Favorite Saying - Oh, really? Mrs. Smith Cfrom Senior Play daysj has certain- ly made herself well-known around G.H.S. during her three-year stay here. She has been an active member of the Forum, Dramatic Club, Camera Club, Senior Play and Pro Merito. Furthermore, Jane has been Feature Editor of the Exponent , has played intramural basketball for three years, and has also been a member of the softball and field hockey teams. Last, but not least, Jane has served as an Associate Editor of this Emerald, DOROTHY JOAN CRIMMINGS Dot Ambition - To be a secretary Hobby - Sewing Favorite Saying - 'iWhatcha doing? When Dot undertakes an activity, she certainly goes all the way. Who can forget her realistic portrayal of Tootie , the youngest member of the Smith family, in the Senior Play? Aside from her interest in a certain party in Shelburne Falls, Dot has a great interest in sewing. HAROLD MARTIN CRONEN Shorty Favorite Saying - You fool Hobby - Hunting Harold is a member of the Vocational School auto shop who has not had time for added parti- cipation in school affairs. Nevertheless, his time has been valuably spent working in and out of schcol. Hunting appears to be Harold's main pastime, when there isn't a car around to be re- paired.
