Were you, by any chance, referring to the Senior play? Nothing but. I just happen to have with me a short article about that mammoth production. Would you like to see it? Why not? Meet Me in St. Louis, a comedy of family life in 1904, was presented by the Senior Class to a near-capacity audience on the evenings of the eigh- teenth and nineteenth of November. Jane Crepeau and Edward Keller starred as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the parents of a typical St. Louis family of the period. The play is based on the family's desire to prevent their father from moving to a New York branch office. One of the main reasons for this desire is the forthcoming Worlds Fair, an event which has been anticipated for many years. The climax of the play is reached at the time when the girls half-drown Mr. Dodge, the boss, with bags of water. Outraged, Mr. Dodge fires the bewildered Mr. Smith. In a fast-moving conclusion Mr. Dodge discovers that the office cannot be managed without Mr. Smith's help. Therefore, the latter is rehired and permitted to remain in St. Louis- with a raise in salary. It seems that someone thought he looked young for his age. .IIM BILL JIM We've been talking so much about football that We've forgotten about our second major sport - basketball. Let's talk about that for a while. Who wants to talk about it! Oh, come now. The season wasn't as bad as all that. Still, I must admit that Danny Dyer had his moments of despair. JIM BILL JIM BILL JIM BILL JIM I recall that there was a slight pause in-all this athletic activity for some- thing called mid-year exams. Why spoil our graduation talking about mid-year exams! Well, we were discussing the year's events. You've got to admit exams were an event , to say the least. Still, I don't suppose many students studied any harder than usual. Oh no? Look at this picture I took the day before exams. Of course, a few fortunate souls sur- vived their mid-years to the extent that they were admitted as members of the Pro Merito honor society. Buisness arrange- ments were handled by Eleanor Dav- enport. That's rightg but you've got to give a lot of credit to Mr. Lovett, Mr. Hub- bard, and all the others who helped out in any way. I want to add that the art department deserves a good deal of appreciation and praise for constructing a model stage which so resembled our re- decorated stage in the auditorium.
