RACE TIME HIGHLIGHT IT'S ALL IN THE FAMILY November 16, 1954 All In The Family was a light-hearted tale about teen-agers, their parents, and teachers. Trouble began when George, the family genius, began to work on the theme for the school radio program, Are Parents People? The result was a mixture of hilarious comedy and sober drama so true to many families. Father crunches his cel- ery much to the mortifi- cation of George and his friends. As the photographer snaps the family group, reporter Williams writes an interesting story of a typical night at home. Compliments of Rayon Corporation

FATHER WAS A HOUSEWIFE JUNIOR PLAY i954 Complications arose while Dr, Ann Butler lSue Samplel made the family living, and Mr. Butler lMax Whitel did the household chores. Mr. Butler composed popular music in his spare time. This caused much confusion in the household and prevented the twins, Doug and Julie Hack Allen and Marjorie Cookl from living a normal life. Finally Doug came to a showdown with his father after being teased continually about Mr. Butler's being a housewife. The family's troubles subsided when Mr. Butler's song became a hit. The play unrolled into a hilarious comedy with a down to earth plot. I0 P. N, Hirsch and Company Greenfield, Indiana
