I932. a few shy individuals started up the east walk to receive their initiation into the great institution of secondary education. We began our freshman year under the sponsorship of Miss Kinsley and Miss Teel. We were considered less than nothing and were supposed to act accordingly. But never- theless we made the most money of any class in the carnival. XVe also contributed to the different sports. As sophomores we began to think we were lords of the universe. and entered into the initiation of the incoming freshmen with great gusto. Under the sponsorship of Miss Kinsley and Miss Baldwin we again carried off honors in the carnival. Our girls this year received a prize for having a hundred per cent for annual subscriptions. Most of the boys were out for different sports. As juniors we elected Betty Offutt. president: XVoodrow Jackson. vice-president. and Virginia Davis. secretary-treasurer. The class produced three one-act comedies. and the three captains for the next year's sports were elected from our class. We entertained the seniors by the annual Junior-Senior Reception. with the beautiful Cafe de Ia Paix. The music was furnished by the Melody Boys. As seniors and models for the underclassmen we enjoyed ourselves immensely during our last year in high school. Senior officers were: Vklilliam Riley. president: Joseph Thompson, vice-president, and Lois Rafferty. secretary-treasurer. Again athletics were well supported by the outgoing class. The Senior Play was a hilarious comedy entitled. Mama's Baby Boy. As usual it fell to the Senior Class to publish the Camaraderie and submit it to your approval. CLASS OI: '3 5.
