ml . Q XFN ' K . N. SL' .'s: I '44 The school year 1955-56 has been an interesting one in many respects. However, one outstanding event of this year was the construction of a grand, new, and modern grade school building. We had hoped to be in it by the close of school but we didn't make it. Many feel it better to wait until fall and then the students can make both the adjustment to a. new school and a new school building at the same time. We are indeed proud of this addition to our present facilities. We seniors will be pleased to have our children attend school in this building someday. Special note should be given to: S. M. ROW ONE, Left to Right: Marilyn Williams, President, Raymona Houlette, Brenda Shields, Rose Maupin Bob David Erthal, Guylia Range, Daisy Finney, Secretary, Sam BIOWII- ROW THREE: Don Sample. James Clark, Ronnie Geers Vice-President, R. F. Eberle, Sponsor. ROW TWO: Meneley. The purpose of the student council is to provide a working model of governmental unit under which students will live. The council is one of the most progressive organizations operating in our school. Mr. Eberle has done a splendid job in guiding these young people who represent the entire student body. Among some of the contributions made by the council to the school have been the planting of flowers and scrubs on the campus, the purchase and installation of two lighted display cases and last but certainly far from least the planning and carrying out of the homecoming. The student council represents YOU so you in turn should be proud to give them the support necessary to perform this task to the best of their ability.
