Front row: Wayne Costello, ,loe Longmeyer, Dave Walden, Steve Grummel, Rich Briggs, Pete Wahl. Bill White. As a whole, this has been a most successful season for the cagers from G.C.H.S. ln the first three games of the season, some of our hoopsters showed such promise that the officials from Elsberry, Missouri, picked Charlie Stone as a member of the all- tournament team, but many fans thought Bill Huff should have also been placed on the team for his superb floor work. Gale, though injured, was placed on the second and five. Charlie led the team in scoring through most of the season, but when tournament time came, he got a lot of help from a 6'2', rugged center, Gale Waltrip, 6'4 Wayne Weber, and hard rebounder Paul Weber. Throughout the season, Bill Crotchett, Jr., and Carol Newton did wonderful jobs of feeding the ball to one of these fellows. 1 N 1 1 N If 1111 I 1111 X I 1111 1 'N 1 Crank IMNI I 1 XIII I IIII 111 NIX11 X 1I1r111 N1 1 IINUN XI IX X11 1111 N x I IIIFI1 '1 .IACKQUNX III F N11 N 111 1 II N X61 XV III1 111 1 I Il I rr 1I1r111 111 I lIIf111 W IIIFI1 N Im W IIITI1 N1 111 1 CRF I.
