Oops, lost something. The Junior-Senior Banquet was held on May 16, 1959. The Jun iors transformed the gymnasium into an enchanting evening of Moonlight and Roses. Tables were set around a wishing well covered with roses. The wait- resses wore pastel skirts and blouses and the waiters black trousers and white shirts with black bow ties. The freshman girls started off the program by singing A Dream is aWish Your Heart Makes. After the program the Downbeats pro- vided music for a wonderful evening of dancing. At 11:30 the guests boarded school buses for Hampton, where they saw the show Hey Boy, Hey Gir1. When the group returned, the senior parents entertained with a Carnival after which break- fast was served in the school cafeteria. rl Charming. Moonlight-Dancing I-0114-Ely? Finally at 5:10 the train pulled in, much to our pleasure. Except for a couple of cases of sickness, the trip to Minneapolis was unevent- ful. After checking in at the Hotel Dyckman, we enjoyed our tour of the Air Base and a walk through the rain, which seemed like miles to the Northwest Airlines terminal for dirmer. After a long wait, we toured the Ford Plant. The night was spent in various ways after returning to the hotel from the Ice Follies, Air Base 0 +139 XZ-S X QS- 1 which everyone enjoyed very Checking Qut much.
