Sept. 17-Corn roast in Edwards field, South Sterling, Juniors and Seniors present. Sept. 15-Boys go to Allentown Fair. Oct. Oct. Oct. Oct. Oct. Oct. Nov. Nov. Nov. Dec. Dec. Dec. Jan. Jan. Jan. Jan. Social in the evening. 25-Circus day for Geometry class. Mr. Bordner tries to get the pu- pils to solve a problem in Pennsylvania Dutch. He asks, why is Mon- day different ? Ross answers: It isn't Monday, it's the night before. 26-As per usual Ruth Crocker and Edna Simons come in late. 1--Seniors send for ring samples. 10-Sophomore's get a lecture from Miss Jones. 24-School out for Thanksgiving vacation. 1-Weather cold. 5-Senior play started. 20-Preparing for the Christmas vacation. 1, 1921-New Year's Greetings in order. 10-G. D. V. S. wins from Lake Ariel V. S., 24-5. 15-Miss Jones plays tag with Stephen Butler. She declares she will train him. 21-Girls' team goes to Hawley. Hawley 20, G. D. V. S. 8. 24-Clifford, Burton and Mr. Bordner go to Harrisburg to the State Corn Judging Contest. G. D. V. S. gets honorable mention. 25-School closed on account of cold. Ross and Wallace sent home for seeking a warm spot. 27-Frances gives a glowing account of the skating party at Green- town. 1-Play practice in Miss Woodward's department. 4-We win from the Hawley girls in basket ball. 42
