'THE KEYSTONE V 8 RUTH ROBINSON Rufus Valedictorian, Secretary of Class, Girls' Octet. Not mul-li tnlk, hut :I gentle smile. Ruth is an energetic senior and lives up to her motto, always ready to help some one when called upon. Ruth's home being on the mountain she has aimed high and hit the mark. When she comes blustering in school every morn- ing' at 8.40, there is always a smile that suggests lessons well prepared. Ruth has impressed us as a girl with sincere pur- pose and a determination to do every thing the best she can. We know that the district school that secures the serv- ices of Ruth will be exceedingly for- tunate. HELEN SIEG usauyn Class President, Captain of Basket Ball Team, Manager of Basket Ball Team. Girls' Octet. 'l'1'ue worth is in being. not seeming. Helen has proved her motto to us, through her school life. She never tried to seem, but rather always to be her na- tural self. Helen's little smile and bright good morning won and held many friends for her. In school activities Helen was an energetic leader. Her perseverance and stability of character made her a vital part of the student body. We trust that Helen's college life will be as faithful as her high school life. The best wishes of the class go with Helen in her future endeavors.

ROSSOSBORNE Dutch Basket Ball Team 1920-1921. Member Championship Stock Judging Team. Little lmys should he seen: not lwnx'4l. When Ross entered High School he was very bashful, and shy of the girls. In a short time he mastered this difii- culty and has become exceedingly popu- lar with the Junior girls. He has been a faithful student, an untiring worker for the welfare of the school, and a -na- tural leader among his colleagues. Ross displayed much ability as an actor in class dramatics, especially in the char- acter part in Neighbors He won much praise for himself and school in his excellent work in stock judging. The team of which he was a member won the State Championship at State College, and later Ross won a medal at the Na- tional Dairy Show in Chicago for excel- lency in placing Jerseys. Ross' school career has been full of achievements, that have been crowned with success. We hope his future will be equally as suc- cessful. ROSE PROBST Prosy Ropes Une longing lingering look iN'lliIl4i. Rose, a very lively and enthusiastic lassie, joined the class in the Fall of 1919. Her rosy smiles, and kind words have won her many friends and admir- ers, especially among the opposite sex. We do not know her intentions after leaving here, but it has been rumored that she is going to give some of her time to teaching' and training the minds of children in a district school. In what- ever she attempts her classmates are sure of her success, and their best wishes follow her. 'THE KEYSTONE

Life is what we nmke it. Rush, the energetic Senior, entered school in 1917. In the future when we think of Rush we will associate him with everything' that has been clean, manly and progressive in the history making period of our school, from 1917 to 1921. Rush will long' be remembered for his excellent work in athletics. Many doubt- ful games were credited to old G. D. V. S. through the skill and strength of Rush. We trust that he will always keep in touch with his Alma Mater that he may yield an influence as effective as in his school doys. THE KEYSTONE
