To The Class of 1964: MR. BENNETT District Principal This year it has been my opportunity to work more closely with your class. It has been a pleasure. When you leave the halls of G.C.S., try to think of your experience here, what this means to you in the future. Don’t let this be the end of your education process. Continue in every way possible to build on the foundation that has started here. We all wish you the best as you travel along the road bf life. Use it wisely. i VI BOARD OF EDUCATION SEATED: Mrs. I. Flannagan, Mr. Raymond, Mrs. L. Flannagan. STANDING: Mr. Weir, Mr. McLean, Mr. Burrows, Mr. Race. 8

Mrs. Corrine Maxon has acted in her capacity as a Home Economics teacher at Greene Central for several years, and her many students would probably unanimously agree, were we to say she is one of the best. To say that she was a good teacher would reveal only half of the picture, however. Acting outside the classroom, at various duties such as club sponsor, class advisor and the like, she has become an indispensable member of the Greene Faculty. We seriously feel it is about time that her efforts were recognized, so, with great pride, we dedicate the 1964 Greene Lite to Mrs. Maxon. 7

MR. PEARL To the Class of 1964: Commencement Indicates but a continuation upon a way through life which you already have elected. Your high school education has been successful only if it has given you direction, im- petus, and a purpose for living. Only 60°Io of those who were born in America the same year as you are being graduated from high school. You have enjoyed a common privilege in a free society, may you guard with uncommon vigilance the heri- tage that has made this privilege possible. The faculty joins me in wishing you success. We shall fondly remember the class of ’64. To the Class of 1964: The world needs young adults with vision and integrity. May your achievements at Greene Central School open the door to you for a useful, significant service. We wish you success and happiness in your endeavors. 9 MR. PALMITER
