Th1s season was what mrght be called a quret one but we d1d have a opular Glee Club whrc became famous under the Btg Top We were now workrng ourselves up to a brgger and etter show for the followrng year Returnrng to start one of our busrest seasons rn September of 1951 we found that busxness was really prckmg up Vendors came to sell us our class rrngs caps pennants and emblems The troupe gathered together to adopt class colors flower motto and song The class song was wrrtten to the tune of Betty Co ed by some of the troupe at the tent of one of the chorus grrls In the sprrng of that season we presented the play OUR MISS BROOKS under the farthful duectron of our barker Mrs Toms Wrth the cast made up of some of our top per formers the play turned out to be a center r1n smash h1t Towards the end of the season we took a troupe tour over the Gettysburg Battlefreld where several o our acrobatrc arttsts put on a performance We then brought the season to a brrlhant closlng wrth the Junror Semor Prom After thts busy year we agaln packed up for summer vacatron We returned for the fourth and fmal season There were now only ftfty mne of us left rn the troupe but we entered the season determrned to make rt a brg success In order to avord legal entanglement we spent a day rn court to learn the procedure of the law Then came the day for the troupe prctures The clowns acrobats and troupe drrected by Mrss Phrllxppy provtded the necessary equrpment for the enttre Brg Top electron In early December our troupe presented tts last personal lay wrth Mrs Toms agarn crackrng the wh1p The cast for AUTUMN STORY was chosen from our best per ormers and mtroduced a freakrsh wonder w1th s1x toes Later rn the season we enjoyed troupe tours to Harrrsburg and Washmgton D C As we reflect on the merrts of our troupe we realrze that the center rrng has been busy One performer recelved reco muon for the hrghest scholas uc honors our three talented artxsrs have been popular for all types of publrcrty an decoratrons our varred mus rcal ab1l1t1es have enrtched many wonderful atnactrons even an entlre musrcal program of patrrotrc songs and our alert salespeople through the advertrsements recelved have made possrble the padded covers on thrs book Our season ended wrth a grand and glorrous fmale cons1st1ng of the ,Tumor Semor Prom Baccalaureate Servrce Class Nrght and Commencement As the lrghts drmmed rn the center r1ng we bowed out gracefully lookrng back at the hrstory we have made letung the RIBBONS OF THE PAST TIE THE GIFTS OF THE FUTURE fl?
