CLASS HISTORY REMEMBER G. H. S. There is no tribute too great, There is no honor too g orious, To accord to our dear school We so proudly call our Alma Mater. Each busy year has passed, More quickly than we wished, Yet naught has ever dimmed Our love for Greencastle High. Fifty-three now remain, At G. H, S, to say good-bye, We will always honor Today we launch, Tomorrow we anchor. By Mary Jane Bear The first two years of our hign school days have almost passed on into oblivion, but looking back, we can recall more vividlymemories of our last two years as upper classmen. At the beginning of our junior year we elected the following officers: Max Stenger, James Stenger, Joanne Brewbaker, and Ronald Goetz. Another great moment was writing our class song. . Fourteen members of the class got together and wrote it to the tune of Mr. Touchdown, U.S.A. Do you remember the excitement and thrill when we received our class rings on March 15? Lookin back on our junior play LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, which was presented on April 5th and sth under the direction of Mrs. Lehman, we still have to chuckle, recalling some of the good times we had together. Do you remember May 17 when we journeyed to Gettysburg and toured the battlefield? Many interesting pictures were taken and we all had a wonderful time. As our Junior year comes to an end, we will keep chasing the white rabbit until we reach the senior class. Looking back to September 4, we see fifty-three of us who are at last high and mighty Seniors. We elected the followinglofficers to carry us through our last year at G.H.S.: Max Stenger, James Stenger, Lorraine etcalf and Ruth Keckler. Doroty Helmuth and Eddie Smith represented us on the Student Council. Do you remember the handsome men and tne crowded mirrors on October 17 when Colao Studio took our class pictures? On December 6 and 7, we presented our senior play RIDDLE ME RlCHES . which was a success due to the direction of Mrs. Lehman. We will always remember dress rehearsal when the micropchone wou1dn't work. How could we ever forget itg but due to the keen minds and quick thin ing of members of the cast, the incident was covered up without the audience's suspecting anything was wrong. ,fl 419 X rf
