The meeting was adjourned by the president. Dear Diary, December 6, 1946 Our customary opening was used, After dues were paid, our hopes came true. The program committee had some brain twistersu to ask each member. Some we answered and others which looked easy we could not answer. A small prize was given to the person who answered the most questions. The meeting was adjourned by the bell. Senior Tri f ll-llii a Y Dear Diary, September Z7, 1946 VVS opened our first meeting of the Senior Tri-Hi-Y under the supervision of Miss VVil- liams, by electing our officers. Dear Diary, March 17, 1947 Tonight we held a St. Patrick's covered dish supper at the Citizens Bank Community Room. VVe had two very interesting speakers from XYilson College at our supper.

A. one of the members of last year's club told us of about some of the things that the club did last year, so we discussed some of them and made some plans on what we are going to do for our year's work. Dear Diary, January 8, 1947 Today we went to the Farm Show at Harrisburg. VVe also attended the F. H. A. meet- ing at the State Education Forum. Dear Diary, March 14, 1947 Our Rummage Sale at the American Legion Room turned out very well, a11d we were inspired to have a Food Sale in the near future. Future Farmers of America Dear Diary, April 15, 1947 Another successful year for the Greencastle chapter of the Future Farmers of America is drawing to a close. One of our most successful activities was the tomato raising project, sponsored hy the Greencastle Packing Co. Our president, Glenn Hykes, took first place and was awarded a cash prize of ten dollars and a wonderful three-day, expense-paid trip to New York City. The Citizens National Bank sponsored a hog project for the cluh. This year Glenn Eykes won a second place with the club entry in the brood sow division at the Fulton County air.
