September 3, 1946 Dear Diary, Today eighty-three of us Sophomores climbed the steps of Greencastle lligh School to start Olll' tirst year of senior high school. Our home rooms are Une, Nine, and Ten. September 13, 1946 Dear Diary, VVe elected the officers to guide our class for the year. November 15, 1946 Dear Diary, Several members of our class, under the direction of Miss Rowland, pre- sented a library play in assembly. The title of the play was The Guilty Onesf' The Dramatic Club today presented for the assembly program a one-act comedy, Are lYe Dressing?'1 The entire cast consisted of members of our class. NYC were certainly proud of our thespiansl No we are looking forward to next year when we can do even bigger things. April 3, 1946 Dear Diary, The members of our A Section English class, under the guidance and direc- tion of Mr. llihitmore, edited and published a school newspaper. Our hrst at- tempt was well received by the other classes, and we hope that this journalistic ellort' can be successfully continued as a school project.

September 5. 19-1-1 - May 29, 19-15 liiglity'-eiglit of us amhitious lfreshmen are trying to enjoy occasions like: Halloween and Christmas parties, hasehall. soccer, and hasketball games. l am very confused and uuexperienced with this new life, but before long 1 hope to he- come accustomed to the change. The following people are leading my group through the year: President-Richard Cline. Vice President-Donald lloover. Secretary--lletty Mae Kriner. Treasurer-l,loyd Mcllonald. . September -l. 1945 - May 28, 1940 After a short summer vacation 1 find myself climbing the same steps. hut with a differ- ent feeling. as it is my first year of Senior High School. My classmates have decreased to 70, but we are still noticed at most of the activities. The ruling ones this year are: President- Richard Cline. Vice President-Lloyd Mc- Donald. Secretary-Lois Greenawalt, Treasurer--YYayne Talhelm. Can you imagine lacing an upper classman next year! September 13 XVe had our first class meeting' and elected class officers for the year. lt was a good feeling to know that we were getting' organized: hut when looking over the room. 1 could see different members of the class who thought they might he nominated. putting' their thumhs down. as if to say: lJon't nominate me. October 35 Today. at our meeting, we selected our hats and pennants. XYe had so many different styles to choose from. it had the girls a little nndecidedg but as for the hoys. they just yelled. 'fThe Crew llat! The Crew Hat! Resultg The Crew Hat. The pennant we selected really is a lu-ln. Decemher Z0 After a Christmas Party in each room with refreshments and entertainment. today started our Christmas Vacation which wil lend -lamiary o. Play try-outs today. llefore the try-outs we worried as to whether or not we could he heard as well as seen. hut afterwards we really knew what it was to have a worried mind when we had to live through an afternoon to find out VYlio was XYho in The lJoctor's Orders. This could easily he dctermined hy looking at the faces of the dif- ferent kidsg some lit up like Christmas trees. while the unfortunate ones had a look of utter dismay.
