NATIONAL HONO3 Y E if fi, s N .S L Z 82 Christmas assembly On December 19, 1974, National Honor Society president, Robin Partain, became Santa Claus. Sue Sanford was Mrs. Santa Claus, and Rhnea Hylton sparkled as Rudolph. All this took place in the Christmas assembly, when Santa the Fatty, written by Eddie Adkins, was presented to the student body of Rupert Junior High School and our own student body. Also on the progra.m's agenda was The Littlest Angel, by Rhnea Hylton, and a recitation by Dren Franklin of Twas the Night Before Christmas. Several members acted out the parts as they were read. Among other activities of the National Honor Society was the selling of tickets for a tape player, given away on December 19. The National Honor Society consists of students selected for their achievements in scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Membership requires a 3.0 grade average.
