DEDICATED TO JOE HARTSFIELD Sometimes we as students don't recognize the people who help us and try to guide us through our years at G.H.S. All of the faculty and administration are here to help us, but sometimes one person seems to stand out above them all. This person has been teaching here four years. Some- time during that period most of us have had the pleasure of talking to him. He is the kind of person to whom you can really talk. He seems to understand young people and respect their ideas. He always seems to be there to lend a hand when you need him. He is the kind of teacher we all respect, be- cause he respects us in return. The world needs more people like this man. That is why the 1976-77 Annual Staff proudly presents the 1977 Pan- ther to Joe Hartsfield in recognition of all the time and effort he has spent to help the student body and to im- prove the school.
