High School Principal Launched with a Bang! That's the only wa to describe the 1968-69 school year. Thanks to the administrative effi- ciency, that typical first day of school confusion was eliminated. Long lines of disappointed students mobbing the office to have their schedule changed and the tugging of misplaced students is a thing of the past now. Because of the hard work put into the arranging of sched- ules by Mr. Charles Henson, almost all the students were pleased with their schedules. Mr. Charles Henson Grade School Principal An important asset to the Greenbrier administra- tion is Mrs. Dean Martin. She keeps the grade school running efficiently through long hours of planning and dedication to immediate tasks. A recent example of her untiring devotion to better educational facil- ities is the setting up of an Education Television system in grades one and two. Mrs. Martin's success can perhaps be attributed to her philosophy that each child is an individual. Be- cause of the fact that each grade school student is im- portant to her, she brings quality education to each of them.

Superintendent The difference between a good school like Greenbrier and a mediocre school is its superintendent. Greenbrier isfor- tunate this year in having Mr. Bill Abernathy as its superintendent. Mr. Abernathy has done much this year in promoting school spirit as well as the educational side of school. To him, school is a very serious business and should be treated as such, and Mr. Abernathy has done a great deal to see that each student has the opportunity to receive the best education thatGreen- brier has to offer. w A Q. - g if in I
