It will stand directly south of our present building and will house the Agriculture and Shop departments in the basement. The old gymnasium will be remodeled into a studyhall, Homemaking department and several extra class rooms. The first one to leave our class was Harold Grife fin, who left during our freshman year. Pete Vetter and Pat Carr stayed with us a little longer, but left just after our freshmen year. During our junior year a new face appeared in our midst and it was found to be that of lo Ann Grif' tin, who came to us from Farmersville. After the close of our junior year Bob Deiss and Don Hoeft left us to ao to San lose and Howard Harms dropped out of school. Betty Carr came from Sparland High School and Bettie and Alice Taylor from Armington. Each member pays twenty-tive cents in dues, which makes a fund for activities. A swimming party at the Peoria Y. W. C. A. was enjoyed and also two bowling parties in Pekin. The number taking part in these activities has been about eighteen. In gym class besides exercises, volleyball, basketball, softball, and dodgeball are played. All girls are eguirecl to take showers after each P. E. class. It was responsible for showing of movies on certain Wednesday afternoons. They were Sun Valley Serenade, State Fair, Home in Indiana, Razors Edge, Iunior Miss, and The Song of Bernadette.
