As we are s1tt1ng 1n our favorlte chalrs daydreamlng, memorles of the SENIOR CLASS Or W5L begln to flood our souls e are th1nk1ng of the many members and the nnumerable DhlD2S each w1ll be dolng 1n ten years from now Then a we1rd llttle man appears and asks us 1f we should llke to look 1nto the future of each member Acceptlng the 1nv1tat1on wlthout hesltatlng, we follow th1s man to a very strange Dlace e go through several doors and then f1nd our elves 1D small room In the mlddle of the room 15 a small cxvstal ball S1CU1HE on a table The llttle man asks us to be seated and behold what the crvstal ball w1ll reveal Gazlng 1nto the crvstal ball we can hardly belleve our eyes, for there before us stands the Superlntendent of the SCIOCO County Schools Who can lt Peo No one but Hour' Dave Jewell As th1s V1SlOH fades, we begln strolllng down our new elght lane hlghway LUOK' Here comes Don PIQFCC, our happy bachelor and woman hater He has Just come from Jack and Iargaret M1ller's house was on h1s way to see Mrs Dale Arthur, the former Martlna Deboard Don tells us that Jack is now a famous comedlan Our next stop lS at our newly erected hosp1tal 1n Franklln Furnace As we enter the hospltal, who should greet us but Janet oalyers, the head nurse, who tells us that Dr Frank Lavender is up stalrs perform lng an operatlon After leavlng th1s scene, we decide to venture to the hleh school where we f1nd Paul McCarty as coach of the g1F1S' wrestling team Ho fessor Harold Herron 15 now asslsting Mr Strehle as a soclal studies asslstant coach at Green H1gh Now we enter a large bu1ld1ng, where straight ahead lS a closed door bearing the name of Sue Blanton, head of the Women's Air Force We inqulre further and f1nd that Betty Brown is Sue's asslstant we enter the room, we see at the receptlon desk Barbara Rlley and Iona Rlce, who are Charles Russell's secretarles Charles is commandlng Off1CeF of the A1r Force After leaving the recuiting offlce, e see a s1gn wh1ch reads 'Shirley Fraley Beautician ' We chat awhlle w1th Shlrley who tellsus that Rose Ba11ey has two very cute llttle boys Having declded to see a lawver about the w1ll the senlors made we walk 1nto the office, and who should greet us? Anna L1tz worklng as receptlonist for Bob Hughes, who 15 now a prosperous voung lawver chat w1th Bob for awhile Upon leaving h1s offlce, we meet Ralph Boggs, who now 15 a successful farmer As we start to leave the bulli lng, we see a door with these words wrltten on it NRobert Callender real estate agentn We decide to see whether it 1S Hour' Bob Callenbc Opening the door, we are greeted by Blanche Collett, who 1S Bob's secretary She tells us that Bob is dO1ng very well for hlmself leave them there and COHCIRUS on our Journey Our next stop is the pol1ce statlon, where much to our surprlse, we see Ruth Refflt in an off1cer's unlform We always knew Ruth had the commandlng ab1l1ty Ruth lntroduces us to her secretary none other than Ruth Bell, who tells us that Barbara Ison 15 now head llbrarian of the rranklin Furnace Public Llbrary We beg1n to th1nk our Journey 15 over But wait a mlnute What could have happened to Joyce Lavender and Ruby Klaibero Our welrd llttle man takes us to Ironton Ohlo where on a blllboard we see the announcement WJOY LAVENDER' BHEAT HILLBILLY SINGER COM S HOML he hear a nolse and turn around and see Joyce gett1ng off the tra1n Along w1th her 1S her 9ff1C3C1OUS manager, Rubv Klalber These girls have done very well for themselves As the scene changes we are back once more 1U our favorlte Ch31Hi Have we been dreamlng, or have we one 1nto the future9 No one w1ll ever know But whatever the class of WSL' wlll be do1ng 1n ten years we w1sh them success and h8pp1HSSS X x 7 A U vw - N . g . -,- . . 4 . .Q . . .
